About Under 18 Ringing
This site is a simple, friendly directory of youth bell ringing groups in the UK and beyond. It’s designed to help parents and young people discover local ringing.
There was previously not one place to view this information so as part of the CCCBR’s Ringing 2030 project, this site was commissioned to fill that gap.
This site is maintained by the Young Ringers workgroup within the CCCBR.
Our aim
- Make it easy for parents and young people to find ringing where they live
- Keep information accurate, lightweight, and up to date
- Celebrate the excitement of young ringing as a hobby
What you’ll find here
- A searchable list of youth groups
- Basic details for each group (location, contact details, etc.)
- Reasons to learn to ring as young person [wip]
- Information for parents to provide reassurance and demystify this hobby [wip]
Thanks for visiting — and happy ringing!
