The Ringing World National Youth Contest - RWNYC

What started in 2011 as a one off competition for the Whitechapel Trophy , has grown into a massive annual event where young ringers from across the country come together to compete for various trophies and medals.

These days there are four main competitions with a call change competition and a method striking competition on six and eight bells and an additional beginner call change category. The all day competition sees young ringers from all over the country descend on a city for a chance to socialise, ring and have fun. The yearly competition also allows for rare experiences such as ringing at the UKs only ring of 16 bells at Birmingham’s St Martin in the Bullring , or the world famous Great Bell of Bow at St Mary Le Bow !
