Cumbrian Herdwicks

The Cumbrian Herdwicks are a friendly, enthusiastic welcoming group. We love a cake break and are usually fuelled by Jelly Babies & Wine Gums. We have a number of Herdy related mascots who stay with different ringers each month. They’re called Ding, Dong, Belle & Shep!

We entered a team in the 6 bell call changes section of the RWNYC for the first time ever in 2025 and hope to enter again this year.

We usually practice once a month at different local towers ranging from 6 bell village towers upto the 12 bells at Carlisle Cathedral.
